Harlequin Liberty Sprung Panel System
Harlequin Liberty is a floating floor system composed of sprung floor panels and available for either permanent dance studio installation or as stage panels for touring. Designed for safety and suitable for a range of dance disciplines, when combined with a Harlequin dance surface Liberty provides the ultimate floor, allowing performers to concentrate on their art without fear of falling or injury.

Applications
Liberty is available in two versions for either permanent or portable installation. Liberty permanent panels provide the ideal sprung floor for a dance studio, rehearsal room or theatre stage floor. The portable panels are intended for touring companies and venues, where the hard resident floor requires occasionally to be covered with a sprung floor.
Design and Construction
The sprung floor panels combine consistent shock absorption and uniform suspension across the whole floor, with no hard spots at the joints. Each full size panel has 45 dual density blocks spaced at regular centres, which absorb impact and give a consistently even energy return (energy stored by the floor's "spring" and released back to the dancer) over the entire surface of the floor. In September 2001 a test was carried out in the USA on 5 different sprung floor systems according to DIN standard 18032 part II, with some exceptions to accommodate dance floor requirements. Harlequin Liberty obtained the best results. The test showed that on average the maximum shock absorption of Harlequin Liberty panels was 63% and the energy return was 20.7%. Panels are formed from 13 layers of high quality Northern grade birch. The corners and sides of each panel are fully supported at regular intervals by dual density, shock damping elastomer blocks. Portable panels have an oil-tempered hardboard backing to ease sliding of the panels into position on the floor and also to protect the elastomer blocks when being handled and toured. We recommend a Harlequin vinyl dance surface be installed as the perfect performance surface: Harlequin Cascade, Studio or Tempo for permanent systems plus Reversible for portable systems. Guarantee
All Harlequin floors are unconditionally guaranteed against defects in manufacture, provided that claims are made within six months of date of despatch or, in the case of Activity Floor and Liberty Sprung Floor Panels, installation. Our guarantee for reasonable wear and tear covers five years. After five years we will take into account the value the end user has received from the product and adjust any claims accordingly. A reasonable life expectancy of Harlequin Liberty is minimum ten years. The Company's liability extends only to replacement of the product found to be defective and not to incidental or consequential loss or damage.
