School of Dramatic Art in Caceres
The drama school in Estremadura (CEMART) is located in the historical centre of Cáceres, declared as a World Heritage Site by Unesco in 1986, thanks to the cultural melting pot (Roman, Islamic, Gothic, Nordic and Renaissance Italian) of the relics found in these towns and villages. The professional dance conservatory of Lugo is set in a brand new building which surprises with its geometric shapes and its rusted façade. Located in the modern part of the city, the structure contrasts with the historical quarter of this Northern Spanish city whose 3rd century Roman wall, which is exceptionally preserved, was classified as a Unesco World Heritage Site in 2000.
