Laying of Harlequin LIBERTY™ portable

Before laying down your Harlequin LIBERTY™ sprung floor, thoroughly sweep your sub-floor to remove grit and dust. Panels must be handled and carried by two people. Be careful with the panel corners and edges to avoid damage during handling. The panels should be set down on the grooved edge first and then laid down flat.

Laying instructions

Please follow the layout plan supplied with your Harlequin LIBERTYTM to install the sprung floor. If you have not received the layout plan, please contact your representative at Harlequin’s freephone: 00 800 90 69 1000 or by e-mail: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Installation sequence is from upper left to bottom right in a brickwork pattern. The panels are laid brickwork fashion so that the cross-joints do not coincide.

1. Start installing the floor making sure that you create a straight angle with the first two panels.

2. Attach the first vertical and horizontal panel to the edge trim or ramp using the latch key supplied with your dance floor. Turn the latch key until you hear the click of the lock engaging.

4. Complete each row of panels before starting another, ensuring that the panels are pushed together correctly and that edge trim and ramps are tightly fixed against the panels.
