Conference in Florence

Harlequin created a sensation by organising an excellent conference in Florence on the subject of “How to choose the ideal dance floor” this year.
The well informed attendees included dance school principals, dancers and set designers who could attend a lecture by DR Boni Rietvield, Orthopaedic Surgeon and Director of the Medical Centre for Dancers and Musicians in The Hague (The Netherlands). This was followed by a testimony from Antonella Bruno, Principal of MAS Dance School and a speech by Harlequin’s Area Sales Manager, Anthony Navacchi.
Fewer injuries thanks to Harlequin
Dr Boni Rietveld announced the results of the world’s first study regarding the link between dancers’ injuries and dance floors; the study was commissioned in 2007 by Harlequin and the results have shown, for example, that dancers from the Dutch National Ballet have sustained fewer injuries since they have been dancing on a Harlequin floor.
“Invest in quality!”
Antonella Bruno, the very committed Principal of MAS, has testified to the reasons why she decided to equip her school with Harlequin floors by proclaiming: “Invest in quality!” Her speech prompted dance school principals to assume responsibility for the comfort and safety of their students.
A full range of vinyl and sprung dance floors and floorings
Finally, Anthony Navacchi gave a brief presentation about Harlequin’s products (9 vinyl floors and 2 sprung floors) and key dates in the history of Harlequin, the world leader in dance and theatre floors. |
