Dresden SemperOper
Situated on Dresden’s Theaterplatz, on the banks of the Elbe, the Dresden SemperOper was first inaugurated in 1841. Tragically destroyed by fire and rebuilt in 1869, it was bombed in 1945 during World War Two.

Palucca Schule
Founded in 1925 by the great Gret Palucca, in 1999 the Palucca Schule became Germany’s first independent higher school of dance. The historic building was renovated in 2007 and flanked by two new buildings in the Bauhaus style with the emphasis on light and space.
