“Dance Palace” was an innovative contemporary dance project created to mark Luxemburg and the surrounding region’s status as European Capital Of Culture 2007.

Harlequin supplied a Harlequin CASCADE™ vinyl floor, the most heavy-duty dance and stage floor on the market.

Thanks to its fine emboss finish, it offers dancers a good grip and is strong enough to stand up to heavy scenery in the theatre. Throughout the course of six months, 18 projects by artists from Luxemburg and the Grande Region were staged. Notable organisations such as the CCN-Ballet de Lorraine, the Saarland Ministerium für Bildung, Kultur und Wissenschaft and Le Théâtre National de Luxemburg were involved in the project.
